چکیده
Background: Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection affects more than 2 billion individuals globally HBV. The chance of dying from liver cirrhosis, acute fulminant disease, or hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is present in 240 million these chronic HBV carriers(HCC). Aims and Objectives: This study aims to assess the anti-HBs antibody titer level against various levels healthcare workers (HCWs) need for booster dose hepatitis vaccination. Materials Methods: was conducted at Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Institute Medical Sciences Research, Melmaruvathur, Tamil Nadu, India, July 2022 December 2022. A total 218 HCWs were divided into two groups: Group (vaccinated ≥5 years ago) past 5 years). serum mL blood separated tested anti HBs by electrochemiluminescense immunoassay method. Results: mean standard deviation values Anti-HBsAg between not statistically significant (P=0.08467). Conclusion: Our demonstrates that people who have had vaccinations are unsure whether they responders non-responders, determine this, must their evaluated only 1–2 months after receiving third dosage vaccine. As a result, still run risk contracting strongly

Point Prevalence of Hepatitis B Virus Infection among Adolescents in Visakhapatnam, India
Introduction: Occurrence of detectable amounts of viral antigen or viral particles in the blood of infected patients with Hepatitis B virus (HBV) is a significant characteristic of HBV infection. Detection of HBV antigen or its DNA among individuals of a community is a crucial factor to know the burden of HBV infection. Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) is a suitable marker of HBV infection b...
